Mr Braithwaite has a New Boy Author: Steven Dawson Director: Steven Dawson Enquiries: 0417 795410 Characters: Experienced Male Actor Wanted (20-30years of age) Nudity is required for this role Theatre: Mechanics Institute Performing Arts Centre Synopsis: The story of Mr Braithwaite and his search for someone to leave his millions to and what happens when a young bit of trade enters his life trying to weasel his way into his bed and his wallet. With 3 actors portraying roles ranging from the narcoleptic land lady, the greedy brother in-law and an incontinent cat, the question remains, who out of this band of misfits will win the day and the pot of gold. Other Information: Dates Required – Rehearsals November/December – some evenings and weekends Performance Dates – Jan 14th – Feb 12th, Tues to Sat 8pm Payment – Co-op (If profit is made it will be split between the cast and crew) |

The lovelorn Pignon is holed up in a Montpellier hotel with suicide in mind. In the adjoining room a hit man is poised to complete his last assignment. Caught between these total opposites is Vincent, the hapless concierge, who is desperate to finish his shift before disaster strikes. To complete the chaos there is an estranged wife, a psychiatrist, police and mistaken identities -- all happening at a breakneck pace. |
