So she takes matters into her own hands in a way that would make older, more desperate performers proud. She kills her rival so that she can go on in her place. Thus develops a hilarious, very black spoof on the likes of "Annie", "Oliver" and "Gypsy" as we follow the unexpected events resulting from Tina's bid for stardom.

It has everything you\'d expect in a \'blue chip\' romantic comedy - a fast-fire witty script and all the trappings of affluent and engaging characters.
When later transferred to the screen, it became a highly successful movie starring Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart and later the movie-musical High Society, starring Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby.
The Philadelphia Story is a show for everyone and a delightful way to farewell our 2009 season.

Synopsis: Season’s Greetings is a black, bitter-sweet, though often farcical comedy about a dysfunctional family Christmas in a middle class English suburban house in the early 1980s.
Christmas is at Belinda and Neville’s house and they have invited their family for a traditional yuletide celebration. Guests for the party are; Neville’s exhausted sister Phyllis; her faded husband Bernard - a doctor whose annual puppet shows are the stuff of legend and terror to both young and old alike; Neville’s slightly ditzy friends Eddie and his pregnant wife Pattie; uncle Harvey, a slightly senile retired security guard and a television-addict; Belinda’s lonely sister, Rachel and finally Clive, a young amorous writer and friend of Rachel.
The full house creates a claustrophobic recipe for fun, frivolity and festive sexual tension all with classic acerbic Ayckbourn dialogue.
Themes running through the play include the loss of passion in marriage and the tragedy inherent in the achievement of only mediocrity in life.
Merry Christmas!

Synopsis: Is a classic of children's literature by Kenneth Grahame, first published in 1908. Alternately slow moving and fast paced, it focuses on four anthropomorphised animal characters in a pastoral version of England. The novel is notable for its mixture of mysticism, adventure, morality, and camaraderie.
The Wind in the Willows was saved from obscurity by the then-famous playwright, A. A. Milne, who loved it and adapted a part of it for stage as Toad of Toad Hall in 1929.
In 1908 Grahame retired from his position as secretary of the Bank of England. He moved to the country, where he spent his time by the River Thames doing much as the animal characters in his book do; namely, as one of the most famous phrases from the book says, "simply messing about in boats".
